A student's ex-boyfriend spit on her right shoe and yelled obscenities at her Friday while she was standing outside the Social Sciences building, 1145 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.

The student told police she dated him from March to September and broke up with him. She said he was not accepting the breakup easily and had tried several times to contact her, reports stated.

The student said she did not want to talk to him, reports stated.

She said her ex-boyfriend had never threatened to harm her, and there was never nonconsensual contact between them, reports stated.

She told police she didn't want to file any formal charges against him but wanted to report the incident for documentation purposes, reports stated.

Police told her if she received any threatening contact from him she should contact the University of Arizona Police Department, reports stated.

No one witnessed the incident.

A student was arrested for possession of marijuana after her roommate in Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall, 1000 N. Park Ave., found an empty plastic bag with residue and reported it to police at 5:21 p.m. Friday, reports stated.

The student was not home at the time, but her roommate said she found the bag and it belonged to the student, reports stated.

Police returned to the room at 8:10 p.m. and asked the student if the marijuana was hers. She said "yes," but she didn't have any more, reports stated.

The student told police she had only smoked once with a friend, reports stated.

The student was cited and released, reports stated.

A student was arrested for urinating in a stairwell in Wilbur's Underground in the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd., at 2 a.m. Friday, reports stated.

An employee told an officer that a student passing by had just urinated on a stairwell, and the student overheard the conversation and looked at the officer with a stunned expression, reports stated.

The student apologized to police but said he really needed to go, and the bathrooms on the ground floor were locked. The officer agreed but said the bathrooms in Wilbur's Underground were open, reports stated.

The student led the officer to where he urinated, and the officer saw a large puddle of clear liquid in the corner in plain sight of the Cellar restaurant and the Games Room, reports stated.

The student told police again that he really had to urinate but couldn't find an open bathroom, and he didn't think it was a big deal, reports stated.

The officer said anyone using the stairwell would disagree, reports stated.

The student was cited and released on a charge of criminal nuisance, reports stated.

A student's MP3 player, leather jacket, shoes and various pieces of jewelry with a combined worth more than $1,300 were reported missing from his room in Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall, 610 N. Highland Ave., sometime between Oct. 16 and Saturday, reports stated.

The student's mother reported the items stolen when she went to his room to retrieve his belongings because the student has been in Pima County Jail since Oct. 16, reports stated.

The mother said she was in contact with her son, and he said the items should have been in his room and had not been lent out, reports stated.

The student's roommate was not there when the mother found the items missing, but she had also been in contact with him and he said he was the only person who had been in the room, though sometimes the lock on the door malfunctioned, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
