Campus town hall meeting today in DuVal Auditorium
A campus town hall meeting will take place today at noon in the Arizona Health Sciences Center, DuVal Auditorium.
The meeting will include updates and a question-and-answer series about the UA College of Medicine Phoenix expansion.
Provost George Davis and Dean Keith Joiner will host the event, which is being sponsored by the President's Office and University Advancement.

Women of color fall mixer
A mixer is being held today at 1 p.m. on the Honors College patio, 1027 E. Second St., for women of color and their allies. The event is designed to encourage undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff to create alliances and networks across disciplines, departments and job fields.

Dodgeball tourney today
The coed community service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, is hosting a dodgeball tournament tonight at 5. All games will be held in Bear Down Gym, and participation is $10 per player. Teams consist of six people, and all participants must dress up to a "disco dodgeball" theme. Students can register online at www.apoti.org.
Proceeds will benefit Casa de los Niņos.
Sorority charity poker tourney
The Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority is holding a poker tournament and raffle Sunday to raise money for its national philanthropy.
The single-elimination No Limit Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament costs $10 for 40 poker chips or $20 for 50 chips and a T-shirt. Proceeds from poker will be donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation.
Prices for raffle tickets are $3 for one ticket, $5 for two tickets and $10 for five tickets.
Raffle prizes include gift certificates for restaurants around Tucson, two tickets to the Dec. 1 Pat Green country music concert and meet-and-greet, jewelry and a football signed by Arizona football head coach Mike Stoops, among other prizes.
Proceeds from the raffle tournament will be donated to the Arizona Cancer Center in memory of Susan Goldberg, the late mother of two of the sorority's members, who died in August.
Women from the sorority will serve drinks and snacks and be dealers at the poker tables. The event will be held from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and will take place at the sorority house, 1071 N. Mountain Ave.
