'A' Store reopens today

The University of Arizona Students in Free Enterprise team is preparing for the "A" Store grand re-opening today. The "A" Store, located in the Tucson Mall, is a satellite location of the UofA Bookstores and sells UA-branded apparel and gifts.

The event, celebrating the store's expansion from 300 square feet to 600 square feet, starts Friday and continues through Sunday. There will be UA athletes on hand, percentage-off balloon popping contests, and a raffle for a football and softball signed by university athletes.

Documentaries on Iraqi voices tonight

Two documentaries will be shown tonight that underline the lack of unembedded information on Iraq provided by the American media and resilient determination of the Iraqi people to be free from foreign occupation.

The free event starts at 7 p.m. in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building, Room S202. For more information, contact the Africana studies department at

Sudoku puzzle new edition to pages of Wildcat

A Sudoku puzzle from Pappocom is now being featured in the classifieds section of the Arizona Daily Wildcat near the crossword puzzle (both puzzles are on page 17 today). Sudoku requires no arithmetic, as challengers solve the puzzle with reason and logic.
