A student and her mother reported three UA volleyball players were verbally abusive to them at the football game Saturday at Arizona Stadium, 540 N. Vine Ave., around 5 p.m., reports stated.
The student said one of the volleyball players tried to squeeze onto a bench she and her mother were sitting on, and they asked her to move because there was not room, reports stated.
The student said the player went up a few rows and when two more volleyball players arrived, they all started yelling at the student and her mother, reports stated.
When the student responded to the yelling one of the players said, "I can meet her outside," reports stated.
Another one of the players said, "I'll come over there and kick your ass," reports stated.
The third player said to the mother and daughter, "Look at the height difference and look at these," while flexing her biceps and continued, "Who do you have your money on?" reports stated.
The mother said the volleyball players called over a security guard and a Pima County Sheriff's Department deputy, and they ejected the student and her mother, reports stated.
The student's mother said she only wanted the incident reported in case anyone tried to harm her or her daughter, reports stated.
A student was arrested for underage drinking after she pushed past employees in an effort to run on to the football field Saturday at 6:05 p.m. during the Homecoming game, reports stated.
The student tried to get through a gate on the northwest side of the field, and an employee told her she could not enter, reports stated.
Moments later the student pushed past the employee but was stopped by other employees, reports stated.
When police were talking to the student, they could smell a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. A medical professional aiding police drew the student's blood and found her to have a .251 blood-alcohol content, reports stated.
The student was cited and released for underage drinking and criminal trespassing. She was left in the custody of a friend, reports stated.
A student was ejected from the football game Saturday at 5:06 p.m. for drinking a beer inside Arizona Stadium, 540 N. Vine Ave., reports stated.
Police and other security at the game saw the student drinking from a can of beer. A security guard asked the student to give him the beer, but he did not respond, reports stated.
The security guard tried to grab the can from the student, and he pulled away and continued drinking, reports stated.
Police told the student three times to stop drinking, and the student pulled away while cursing and yelling at the officer, reports stated.
Police pulled on the front of the student's shirt and walked him down the stairs to the field. The student attempted to break away from the officer, reports stated.
Another officer helped to handcuff the student and lead him out of the stadium. Police confiscated the student's Zona Zoo pass and told him he could pick it up Monday from the University of Arizona Police Department, reports stated.
He was told not to return to the game and was released without charges, reports stated.
A student was arrested for underage drinking and possession of a fake identification after he was found lying passed out on a bathroom floor in the Student Union Memorial Center at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, reports stated.
The building manager called police, and police and Tucson Fire Department found him lying on the floor of the bathroom, reports stated.
Police checked the student's wallet and found two driver's licenses, one from California and a fake one from Texas, reports stated.
After TFD officials cleared the student healthwise, police escorted the student to his patrol car and asked him where he got the fake ID. The student said he paid a man $125 for the ID last year, reports stated.
The student said the man used to live in Arizona Commons apartments last year, but he did not know where he lives now. He gave police the man's cell phone number. He told police that this is someone students call when they need a fake ID, reports stated.
He told police he did not know the man's last name, reports stated.
The student was cited and released.
A student attempted to drive his vehicle the wrong way into the drive through at Wendy's, 1005 N. Campbell Ave., sometime before 3:37 a.m. Saturday and damaged an in-ground utility box, reports stated.
The box is located in the planter south of the restaurant, and the vehicle drove over the curb and the utility box, reports stated.
The two men in the vehicle reportedly got out and were last seen walking east on East Speedway Boulevard, reports stated.
The vehicle was parked on the planter with all the doors locked and the alarm activated, reports stated.
The vehicle was towed, reports stated.
A student reported receiving three phone calls between Oct. 1 and Friday in her room at Hopi Lodge Residence Hall, 1440 E. Fourth St., from an unknown man who said he was masturbating and wanted to meet her, reports stated.
The student said she has hung up the phone immediately each time the man called, and her phone did not have caller ID or star-69 capabilities, reports stated.
She said the man never made any threatening comments, and she didn't feel like she was in any danger, reports stated.
The student said the caller sounded like a younger college-aged man with a soft voice, reports stated.
The student said she reported all the calls to her resident assistant. Police said if the man called again, the student should dial star-57 after ending the call, and they would contact the Center for Computing and Information Technology about tracing the previous calls, reports stated.
