A student's $200 digital camera, memory chip, wallet and dishwasher soap were thought to have been stolen sometime between Oct. 31 and Nov. 4 from her dorm in Coconino Residence Hall, 1003 N. Olive Road, reports stated.

The student told police she noticed the items were missing around 7 p.m. on Nov. 4.

The student said she suspected another student in her hall had taken the items because she had been in her room earlier.

The student said she wanted the hall director to talk to the other student before police got involved, reports stated.

Police pulled a Taser on two students Nov. 5 after they refused to leave a party at Pi Kappa Phi, 1449 N. Cherry Ave., reports stated

When police arrived around 11 p.m. the two students were standing by the door to the fraternity. The students were being loud and making comments to people coming into the party.

Fraternity members said they had asked the students to leave several times.

When police asked the students why they were there, one of the students said, "They have the problem," reports stated.

Police smelled alcohol on both students and one of the students was smoking. Police asked the student to put down the cigarette, and the student put it down without putting the cigarette out.

The students said they had shown up to the party with girlfriends. The students said their girlfriends had been allowed to enter, but said they were told they couldn't come in.

The student who had been smoking picked up his cigarette from the ground and police asked him to put it down.

The student said, "Why? Is it against the law to smoke on a public sidewalk?"

Police told the student the cigarette could be used as a weapon and asked him several more times to put down the cigarette.

The student then began to walk toward police with the cigarette pointed at them, reports stated.

Police pointed a Taser at the student and told him again to put down the cigarette.

The student did not obey right away and the other student said, "Dude, those things hurt like hell, you better drop it."

The student then dropped the cigarette, reports stated.

Police told the students to leave the fraternity. The students said they could be there if they wanted to.

Police told the students they could be arrested for disorderly conduct.

The students left grumbling and saying obscenities, reports stated.

A student's $40 holiday decorations were destroyed Nov. 6 outside her room in Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., reports stated.

Several other dorm rooms had decorations on them, but only the student's decorations had been torn up.

The student said the decorations had been fine around 3:30 a.m. and said she noticed they were messed up about an hour later.

The student said she had reviewed the surveillance tape of the hall, but said she hadn't seen anyone messing with the decorations.

The student said she suspected it was another student in her hall because the student always said mean things to her.

The student said she didn't have any proof that the other student had done it, reports stated.

A student broke a $50 glass pane Nov. 6 in her dorm room in Cochise Residence Hall, 1018 E. South Campus Drive, and had to get stitches in her right thumb, reports stated.

Police arrived around 11:15 p.m. and the student's roommate said the student had hit the glass pane with her hand because she was mad at her boyfriend.

When police asked the student what had happened, she said, "I'm stupid" several times.

When police asked the student why she said that, the student said she was stupid for drinking and for hitting the pane. The student said she hadn't meant to break it and said it was an accident.

The student was taken to University Medical Center.

The roommate said she and the student had been drinking rum mixed with fruit juices.

Residence Life said they would charge the student for the damage.

The student and the roommate were diverted to the Dean of Students for underage drinking, reports stated.
