Five students admitted to underage drinking the morning of Nov. 8 after one of the students was pulled over for making an improper turn, reports stated.

Police pulled the student over around 3 a.m. and saw he had four passengers in his car.

Police smelled alcohol and noticed all the students had red, watery eyes.

When police asked if anyone in the car had been drinking, all five students raised their hands.

All of the students said they were underage.

Police preformed a field sobriety test on the student who had been driving. He showed no signs of impairment, reports stated.

The students were cited and a friend picked the students up, reports stated.


A man was found with two glass smoking pipes and admitted to smoking marijuana the morning of Nov. 9 after he was arrested on an outstanding warrant in front of the César E. Chávez building, 1110 E. James E. Rogers Way, reports stated.

When police arrived around 8:30 a.m., they noticed the man sitting on a bench with two red bags.

A records check showed the man had a warrant for his arrest for failing to comply with a court order.

When police searched the man’s bags he said the pipes weren’t his, but admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the day.

The man was booked into Pima County Jail and the pipes were placed into evidence, reports stated.


A student was found with a fake identification on the morning of Nov. 9 after he was pulled over for speeding near East Fourth Street and North Park Avenue, reports stated.

Police pulled the student over around 10 a.m. and asked to see his license. The student opened his wallet and reached for a Texas driver’s license before handing police an Arizona driver’s license.

Police asked the student about the Texas license, and the student said it was his brother’s. Police wanted to talk to the student’s brother and the student gave police a number to call.

Police called the number and a man answered. The man said he wasn’t the person on the Texas license and said he had never heard of the name on the license before.

Police ran a records check on the student and saw he had a warrant out for his arrest for aggravated assault.

The student was booked into Pima County Jail, reports stated.


Four peach costume shirts were stolen sometime before Nov. 9 from the Stevie Eller Dance Theatre, 1737 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

A UA employee said the shirts were supposed to be used in a production. She said the door to the room where the shirts were kept did not completely close without someone pushing it.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A man was cited for trespassing Nov. 9 after police got a call about the man panhandling near McClelland Hall, 1130 E. Helen St., reports stated.

When police arrived around 3:30 p.m., the man was holding a clipboard and talking to students.

Police has previously warned the man about trespassing on campus.

A records check showed the man had a misdemeanor warrant.

The man was released, reports stated.


A student’s $250 red and black bike was reported missing sometime between Oct. 27 and Nov. 7 from the Education building, 1430 E. Second St., reports stated.

The student told police he had locked his bike with a cable lock around 5 p.m. on Oct. 27 and returned around 4 p.m. on Nov. 7 to find his bike gone.

The student said his bike did not have a seat.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
