A UA employee found what appeared to be human feces on the afternoon of Nov. 18 on the fifth floor of the UA Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
The employee said the substance was partially wrapped in newspaper and smeared across the carpet.
The employee said similar incidents had happened before, but said it had always been in the restroom.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A man was cited for trying to steal software priced at $299 the afternoon of Nov. 17 from the UofA Bookstore, 1209 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
When police arrived around 4:30 p.m., a UA employee said he saw the man on videotape put the software under his wheelchair.
The man said, "I just want you to know that I took it. I'm not going to deny it," reports stated.
The man then said, "My friend was looking at the software and wanted it but it's pretty expensive. He can't afford that. So I got the item and put it in the bag under my seat. I didn't know there were cameras all over the place."
The man's friend said he did not know the man had taken the software.
The man was released, reports stated.
A man's Toyota was damaged Nov. 18 while it was parked in the Main Gate Parking Garage, 815 E. Second St., reports stated.
The man said he parked his vehicle around 11:45 a.m. on the second floor and said he came back an hour later to find his vehicle scratched and dented.

The windshield of a SafeRide vehicle was broken sometime before Nov. 18 while it was parked in a Zone 1 lot, 1103 E. Second St., reports stated.

A student's $250 silver bike was reported missing the night of Nov. 18 while it was parked at the Anthropology building, 1009 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.
The student said he parked his bike around 6 p.m. and said he came back a little while later to find his bike gone.

A student's $25 black and blue bike was reported missing Nov. 15 from Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall, 1010 N. Park Ave., reports sated.
The student said he locked his bike with a cable lock around 8:30 a.m. and said he returned around 11 p.m. to find the bike gone.
