Lectures/Workshops

  • Photography Exhibition. The Center for Creative Photography's exhibition "Harry Callahan: The Photographer at Work" continues. Harry Callahan was one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century and one of the Center's first archives. The exhibition runs until May 7

  • Interview Preparation Workshop. How you present yourself in an interview will determine whether you get the job. Learn how to prepare for an interview so that you can answer the tough questions with ease. No sign-up required. Event starts at 11 a.m. in the Student Union Memorial Center, Room 411

  • Weekly Writing Workshop. Dr.Victoria Stefani of the Writing Skills Improvement Program will discuss "Topic Choice and Effective Research: The Thesis and General Planning." This lecture is part of a free semester-long series of workshops held every Monday. Event starts at 5 p.m. Psychology building, Room 207

  • Free Billiards. Come play pool for free! Every last Monday of the month, the Games Room gives away unlimited free pool games all day. SUMC, Wilbur's Underground, Games Room

  • Metamorphic Expressions. The prints and paintings of Ernesto A. Trujillo will be on display. According to Trujillo, "In the process of developing self, I have tried to look through the kaleidoscope of artist, scientist, and inventor to develop my compositions around traditional and alternative materials that present unique environments. Metamorphic Expressions is a collection of thoughts, ideas and emotions described with intense energy and garish colors." Noon to 8 p.m. SUMC, Union Gallery
