A man was found with marijuana the morning of Oct. 7 after he was pulled over for running through a stop sign at North Cherry Avenue and East University Boulevard, reports stated.
After the man ran the stop sign in his Ford Mustang, police saw him roll up his window and smelled marijuana.
When police pulled the man over they noticed he was moving stuff around inside the car.
The man told police he didn't have a license. There was a child who looked about 2 years old in the passenger seat, reports stated.
Police asked the man to put the child in the back seat. When the man did so, the smell of marijuana was even stronger.
When police asked if there was anything in the car the man said, "There's a roach in there ... in the middle," reports stated.
The man became nervous and asked if he was going to be arrested.
Police found rolling papers and three rolled cigarettes. Police then found a baggie of a green leafy substance in the console.
The man said, "It's pot from the other night ... I just didn't take it out yet," reports stated.
The man told police he smokes every day, but hadn't smoked that morning.
When police ran a records check on the man they saw he had two warrants and his license was suspended.
The man was cited and released, reports stated.
A man was walking with his friend Friday night when he was verbally assaulted outside the Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall, 1010 N. Park Ave., reports stated.
The man said around 10:30 p.m. someone threw alcohol at him and called him a faggot.
Police called the man to get a full report on the incident and he didn't answer. Police then left messages for the man.
It is unknown whether the man wanted to press charges, reports stated.
Someone broke a student's car window sometime between Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 while her car was parked at the Tyndall Garage, 880 E. Fourth St., reports stated.
The student told police she parked her car around 1 p.m. on Oct. 5, and when she came back around 2:30 a.m. she saw that her right front door window had been shattered.
Nothing had been stolen from the car, reports stated. It looked like someone had broken the window by shooting a BB gun at it.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A $1,378.76 Dell laptop was stolen Oct. 5 from the Little Chapel of All Nations, 1052 N. Highland Ave., reports stated.
When police arrived a woman told them someone had been using the laptop at the center around 4 p.m. The woman said the person left and came back an hour later to find the laptop was gone.
The door to the room that the laptop was in had been left unlocked.

Someone broke the window on a student's truck sometime between Oct. 4 and Oct. 6 while the truck was parked in Tyndall Garage, 880 E. Fourth St., reports stated.
The student told police he had parked his truck on the fourth floor around 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 4, and when he returned around 2:30 p.m. two days later he noticed the broken window.
Police were able to obtain three prints from the truck. The prints were put into evidence with instructions to send them to the lab, reports stated.
Someone stole a student's $90 science and engineering textbook Oct. 6 from the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
The student told police he had been on the third floor studying when he went down to the basement to print some homework. The student said when he returned 10 minutes later the textbook was gone.
The student told police there had been water stains on the textbook.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A student's $260 black and yellow mountain bike was stolen Oct. 6 from the Harvill building, 1103 E. Second St., reports stated.
The student told police he had locked his bike with a U-Lock around 2 p.m. and had gone to class. The student said when he returned two hours later the bike was gone.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
