A student was cited for underage drinking after three different people complained to police about him at the Midnight Madness game Friday night, reports stated.
The student had been directing rude comments and profanities at the band, reports stated.
Police told the student about the complaints they had gotten from audience members and he said he had "been quiet" for the last 30 minutes, reports stated.
Police could smell alcohol on his breath and noticed the student's speech was slightly slurred, reports stated.
The student was cited, released and told not to return to the event, reports stated.
A student's $125 ring and $125 bracelet from Tiffany & Co. were stolen from her room in La Paz Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland Ave., sometime within the last two weeks, reports stated.
The student said she noticed the ring was missing from her desk on Oct. 3 at 1 p.m., but thought she had misplaced it.
On Sunday, she noticed the bracelet missing from the same place, reports stated.
The student said she believes the items were stolen and not misplaced, as she had previously assumed, because she could not find them in her room, reports stated.
The student said she does not suspect her roommate and doesn't know who might have taken the items, reports stated.
The student and her roommate said they don't always lock their door when they leave the room and their friends also frequent the room, reports stated.
No evidence was found in the student's room to lead to a suspect.
Police told the student to keep her belongings in a more secure place in her room and to always lock the door, even if she or her roommate were only leaving the room for a moment, reports stated.
A student's $1,100 laptop was stolen Saturday from a table on the fifth floor of the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., at 3:40 p.m., reports stated.
The student said he left his laptop on the table when he went to the lobby to use his phone, when he returned the laptop was gone, reports stated.
A woman sitting in the area said she had been studying and heard something fall. She looked up and saw a man.
The woman said she did not see the man take the laptop, but he was the only man in the area, reports stated.
The student said he looked around the area but did not see anyone who might have taken the laptop, reports stated.
He followed the man the woman suspected out of the library and told police he was at Starbucks, reports stated.
Police found the man at Starbucks and he let them search his backpack. Police did not find the laptop on the man and they ruled him out as a suspect, reports stated.
The student did not have the serial number for the laptop.
Police have no other suspects or witnesses.
A student's 2000 Acura was heavily damaged while it was parked in Park Avenue Garage, 1140 N. Park Ave., sometime Friday or Saturday, reports stated.
A patrol officer saw the vehicle at 9:42 p.m. Saturday and notified the student, reports stated.
The driver's side window had been broken and, the driver and passenger seat, three CDs, the gear shift knob, center console and engine air intake had all been stolen from the vehicle, reports stated.
It appeared as though the window had been shot out with a pellet, and there was damage to the top corner of the window that appeared to have been done with a screwdriver or similar instrument, reports stated.
The back hatch of the car was also broken out, reports stated.
Police checked the area inside and outside the car and were not able to find any evidence to lead to a possible suspect, reports stated.
The student does not know who might have caused the damage to his car, reports stated.
Police told the student to contact UAPD if he was able to locate the serial numbers of any of the missing items, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
Illegible graffiti was spray-painted on a parking block at the University Physicians building, 1610 N. Vine Ave., at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, reports stated.
Unknown words were painted on the block in white spray paint.
An employee of the building saw two men in the area and they said, "I don't care if you call police," and "I need to go to jail; I need to be on suicide watch," before they left the scene, reports stated.
Police conducted a search of the area for the suspects but were unsuccessful, reports stated.
Police have no other suspects or witnesses.
