Someone damaged a light fixture Feb. 7 and wrote graffiti on walls in the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
Police said the graffiti was done with a black marker but could not make out what it said, reports stated.
The union custodial staff came to clean up the writing and fix the light fixture, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
Someone damaged windows and wrought iron bars Feb. 7 before 8 a.m. in the Middle East Studies building, 1219 N. Santa Rita Road, reports stated.
Two of four wrought iron bars were pulled from the walls and one of six small windows were broken, reports stated.
Police found a small, red brick close to the broke window, reports stated.
Facilities Management came to replace the bars and fix the window, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A student's iPod was stolen from her friend's room Feb. 6 in Cochise Residence Hall, 1018 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.
The student told police she lent her iPod to a man in her hall because his was stolen, reports stated.
The student went to retrieve it from the man's room but was unable to find it, reports stated.
Police contacted the man, who said he left the student's iPod on an unused bunk bed in the room, reports stated.
The man returned to his room and the iPod was missing, reports stated.
The man's roommate did not know what happened to the iPod but said other property has been stolen from the room before, reports stated.
The roommate said it is easy to "jimmy" the locks on doors with a credit card, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
An employee saw a man steal books Tuesday from the UofA Bookstore, 1209 E. University Blvd., reports stated.
The employee told police she was watching the surveillance cameras at 4:14 p.m. when she spotted a man place two books in his backpack and walk toward the exit, reports stated.
The employee went to the exit to stop the man, but when she arrived he was gone, reports stated.
The UofA Bookstore handed the footage from the surveillance cameras over to police to place into evidence, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or other witnesses.
A man was arrested for possession of marijuana Tuesday on East Seventh Street and North Campbell Avenue, reports stated.
Police pulled the man over because he was traveling 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, reports stated.
Police approached the car and the man did not roll down his window but opened the door to give his driver's license, reports stated.
One officer smelled an odor of burnt marijuana when the man opened the car door, reports stated.
Another officer smelled marijuana from the man's open sunroof, reports stated.
Police asked the man to step out of the car for questioning and the man agreed to cooperate, reports stated.
The man told police he had no weapons but there was marijuana in the middle console, reports stated.
The man said he smoked the marijuana "five minutes ago," reports stated.
Police cited the man for possession of marijuana, speeding and having no insurance, reports stated.
The man was released at the scene.
Police recovered a stolen car that had been parked in a Zone 1 lot since Jan. 31 at 945 N. Palm Road, reports stated.
