Freshman puts a dent in boyfriend's parents' wallet for Valentine's Day

Wildcat: My name is Kylee and you're on the spot. So tell me, what'd you do for Valentine's Day?

Ackley: Well, I'm going to go out to dinner. I haven't yet.

Wildcat: With who?

Ackley: My boyfriend.

Wildcat: Does your husband know you're going out with your boyfriend?

Ackley: (Laughing) I don't have a husband.

Wildcat: Prove it!

Ackley: (Laughing) Oh my God!

Wildcat: OK, I'm just kidding. Now seriously, where are you guys going?

Ackley: Claim Jumper.

Wildcat: What kind of restaurant is that?

Ackley: It's new. It's on Broadway. It has, like, country food. It's pretty fancy. It's nice.

Wildcat: What's "country" food?

Ackley: Like, steak and chicken and mashed potatoes ...

Wildcat: Y'all can't cook that at home?

Ackley: No. 'Cause it's Valentine's Day and I want an expensive dinner (laughs).

Wildcat: Okay. So now we're coming down to the truth. Do you think Valentine's should be a day to spend a lot of money on useless crap?

Ackley: Well, it's not useless if it makes us happy and smile.

Wildcat: An expensive dinner makes you happy and smile?

Ackley: It does. Isn't that horrible?

Wildcat: What about the chocolate and the hearts and the flowers and things like that? Did your boyfriend get you any of those kinds of things?

Ackley: Not yet 'cause I haven't seen him yet today, but he'd better. I'm so greedy (laughs).
