Regarding Shirley Piel's Letter in the Wildcat ("HIV the virus, not AIDS," Sept. 28), I believe HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus, so even she is wrong in calling it the HIV virus (this being redundant). It should be the HI virus or just plain HIV.
