The Arizona baseball team is on a roll. Granted, two wins in the last three games is not extraordinary, but the Wildcats are happy and confident, finally.

"A player came up to me after a hard and humid practice on Tuesday and said, 'It's surprising that when you win a series how quickly practice goes,'" said Coach Jerry Kindall, whose team beat UCLA twice last weekend. It was the Wildcats' first series win this season.

Arizona (9-32, 5-16 in the Six-Pac) heads to Stanford this weekend, wanting to continue the winning ways. The ninth-ranked Cardinal (27-16, 14-7) trail league-leading Southern Cal by a half-game.

PITCHING MATCHUPS.
