Four bicycles were reported stolen Wednesday, two of which were reportedly locked with U-locks to parking blocks.

A student reported his $3,000 full-suspension mountain bicycle was stolen from the racks outside of the Modern Languages building Wednesday.

The victim told police he locked his Answer bicycle to a parking block with a Gorilla brand U-lock at 10:50 a.m. When he returned at 11:55 a.m. the bicycle and lock were gone.

The bicycle was equipped with Manitou II front shocks, Shimano xt drive train, Grip Shift 800 and Mavic 231 rims.

Police have no suspects.

Someone stole a GT ladies mountain bicycle from parking blocks near the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, 1340 E. First St., over the weekend.

The student told police she locked the red $270 bicycle to a rack with a U-lock Friday and left town for the weekend. When she returned Tuesday, the bicycle and lock were missing.

A black Murray 18-speed mountain bicycle was stolen Wednesday from the west side of Bear Down Gym.

The owner told police he locked the $200 bicycle with a half-inch cable lock to a parking block at 1:00 p.m. When he returned 15 minutes later the bicycle and lock were missing.

A student reported the theft of his $300 bicycle Wednesday from a room in the Marley building, 1145 E. Fourth St.

The victim told police he parked the white Raleigh 15-speed bicycle in the room at 8:30 a.m. and when he returned at 8:30 p.m. it was missing.

He said the room is a service lab and is open to many people.

Police have no suspects at this time.
