Two 19-year-old students were arrested Thursday for disorderly conduct after they were identified as participants in a food fight with Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, 1525 E. Drachman.

Police arrested Edward Kramer, of Coronado Residence Hall, and Matthew Underwood, of Scottsdale, when an officer recognized the truck they were driving as a vehicle seen at the food fight.

Police were called to the area by a security officer who said he saw abut a dozen men on the roof of the Pi Kappa Alpha house throwing eggs, fish, oranges and tomatoes at a truck traveling down North Cherry Avenue. The officer said several men in the truck were also throwing food items back at the men on the roof.

An officer stopped Underwood's truck shortly after the incident. Kramer, who was sitting in the passenger's seat, admitted to throwing an egg at the Pi Kappa Alpha house. The officer said he had stopped Underwood earlier in the evening and warned him about throwing food when he noticed several food items in the bed of Underwood's truck. Underwood said he remembered the warning but said he did not know Kramer was going to throw the egg.

Kramer and Underwood were cited and released.

Police arrested a 22-year-old student early Friday morning for driving under the influence of alcohol when the truck he was driving was suspected to be the one seen earlier doing "donuts" on the UA Mall.

Kurt Hudson, of the 800 block of East Speedway Boulevard, denied driving on the Mall but admitted to drinking bourbon and Coke earlier in the evening.

The arresting officer performed several field sobriety tests and then arrested Hudson for mild intoxication.

A short foot-chase Saturday night led to the arrest of a 19-year-old student charged with underage drinking, unlawful use of a license and giving false information to a police officer.

Tyson Fiore, of Coronado Residence Hall, ran from police after it was revealed his license Ä which identified him as 21 years old Ä was false.

Police noticed Fiore stumbling northbound on East Sixth Street and North Santa Rita Avenue wearing only one shoe. When officers approached, Fiore gave them a fictitious Florida driver's license with his picture and name on it.

Fiore said he was coming from a bar at East Tenth Street and North Santa Rita Avenue. When asked for his wallet Fiore attempted to hide a card he had removed from it. Fiore began running from police when they identified the card as his valid Colorado driver's license.

After a short foot-pursuit he was found hiding in an alcove at the Life Sciences Building. Fiore was taken to pre-trial services and released.
