The Arizona Daily Wildcat is a financially independent student-run newspaper, serving the dynamic University of Arizona community. First published in 1899, the Wildcat is one of the largest college papers in the country with a daily (Monday through Friday) circulation of 15,000 during the regular academic year, and a weekly circulation of 10,000 during the summer. It is delivered to more than 100 strategic locations on and around campus.

Staffed by 125 students, the award-winning Wildcat provides valuable on-the-job experience in editing, reporting, advertising sales, marketing, production and accounting.

The Wildcat, published under the auspices of the Arizona Student Media board, is entirely self-supporting, receives no public funding, and pays rent and service charges to the university.
