The Arizona men's club lacrosse team will host Northern Arizona tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Tucson Magnet High School.

The Laxcats have had a positive week of practice after last week's exhibition games in the Maj. Mike Bradley Lacrosse Tournament, in which they worked on improving their offense, head coach Mickey-Miles Felton said.

Arizona worked on building its confidence on offense by going over some of the basics, Felton said.

Felton also said he wants to get more motion into the offense.

"There is a need to get the players moving more than they are," Felton said. "Each person has a responsibility on this team. It has been a busy week of practice. There has been some new plays put in. We should be able to dominate this team."

Felton said he feels that if the team can make some noise early it will get some respect locally. The Laxcats have a respectable image throughout the west, just not locally, Felton said.

Sophomore David Ames will sit out tomorrow's game with a broken thumb. "He is going to be needed in bigger games, so he will be given time to recover," Felton said.

The players are excited about opening the season, Felton said.
