The third-ranked Icecats will host Arizona State tonight at the Tucson Convention Center in what will be both schools' final tune-up before the American Collegiate Hockey Association tournament starts Tuesday in Athens, Ohio.

"The four practices this week are the season," Icecat head coach Leo Golembiewski said.

The Icecats (21-6) will also be seeking some revenge from ASU. When the two teams last met Jan. 27, ASU pulled out a 4-1 victory - its first over the Icecats since 1983, a streak of 64 games.

Both games will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast by KTKT (AM 990).

The Arizona men's lacrosse team will host Bates College today at 7 p.m. at Tucson Magnet High School in a non-league game.

The Laxcats (1-0), are coming off an impressive win last week against Northern Arizona.

Arizona played Bates two years ago and beat the Bobcats 17-11.

Bates beat NAU Sunday 22-11.

Bates has been in Tucson all week and has had two practices a day - Felton thinks that will make them a better team for tomorrow's game.

Arizona will also take on New Mexico Sunday at 1 p.m.
