The School of Music and Dance presents Choraliers in Concert at 8 p.m. in Crowder Hall. Admission is free.

Art history symposium "Death Matters" addresses images, issues and ideologies of death and begins in the Center for Creative Photography tonight at 5:30 p.m. with a lecture by Michael Aurbach, sculptor and associate professor of fine arts at Vanderbilt University.

The Arizona Gallery shows "Tyrant Figures," a painting exhibit by Aaron Morse, today through April 11. The gallery is on the second floor of the Student Union and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Art Department presents a slide lecture by provocative expressionistic painter Melissa Miller at 7 p.m. in the College of Architecture Auditorium.

"Universities, Research, and Commercial Science and Technology: Pursuing a Competitiveness Agenda" is a two-day national conference including discussions and speeches by officials from key federal agencies. The conference begins today and continues through March 2 in the Fine Arts Complex. The conference is designed for university administrators and deans. For the conference schedule call 621-7951.
