Mom stops sales of violent video game

GILBERT € Shocked by images in an electronic game called Primal Rage, an Arizona woman has persuaded a retail giant to halts its sale nationwide.

Ellie Rovella already had convinced Target and Toys R Us to pull the game off shelves in their Arizona stores.

Her drive began in January after her 11-year-old son brought the game home. She was disturbed by its graphic blood sport, but she was really appalled when she saw images of a prehistoric ape urinating on his dead opponent's corpse.

Rovella's most recent success came Friday when Best Buy agreed to drop the game in its 285 stores across the country.
