Arizona's Democratic Presidential Preference Primary will take place tomorrow.

Democrats will be able to cast their votes for Bill Clinton, the only name that will appear on the ballot, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Martin Bacal, Democratic national committeeman, said, "It is unusual that we only have one candidate. Four years ago we had five candidates."

"We anticipate a good turnout and I hope everyone comes out and supports the president," Bacal said.

Bacal said that even though there is only one candidate, the primary is still necessary to send Arizona's 52 delegates to the Democratic National Convention.

The Democratic Presidential Preference Primary is funded and operated by volunteers without taxpayer expense. Same-day voter registration will be allowed for all Arizonans wishing to vote.
