- The School of Music and Dance presents a clarinet studio recital at 7:30 p.m. in Holsclaw Hall. Lydia Catherine Easley, soprano, performs a recital in Crowder Hall at 8 p.m.
- The Center for Computing and Information Technology sponsors "Orientation to Computing Resources" in CCIT Room 311 from 1 to 3 p.m.
- The Arizona Archaeological and Historical Society presents Mark Slaughter speaking about "Stone Tool Use in Southern Arizona - Flint Knapping Demonstration" at 6:30 p.m. at 4350 E. 22nd St.
- John Swisher, professor of education at Pennsylvania State University, presents "Predictions of Drug Use and Violence: Prevention Implications" from 2 to 3 p.m. in the College of Education Kiva Auditorium, Room 227.
- Daughters of the Lonesome Isle is innovative exploration of sound, space and time that features pianist Carol Rhodes and choreographer Katharine Harts along with a full company of dancers. The performance plays at Pima Community College Center for t he Arts, 2002 West Anklam Road, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10, $8 and $6 at the door.
- The College of Humanities presents "Rethinking Computer-aided Language Learning," a colloquium, at 12:30 p.m. in Modern Languages Room 505.
