- ASUA holds a "Meet the Candidates" forum at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Arizona Ballroom.
- The School of Music holds a student performance in Crowder Hall at 11 a.m. Cher Fox, soprano, has a recital at 7:30 p.m. in Holsclaw Hall, and, Chamber Choir Home Concert is presented at 8. Tickets for the concert are $6, $5 or $3.
- The Humanities Program sponsors Kent R. Weekes, professor at the American University in Cairo, giving a slide lecture at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Senior Ballroom. The lecture presents his discovery of the tomb of the sons of Ramses the Great in t he Valley of the Kings. Admission is $5, $3 for students.
- The Newman Catholic Student and Campus Christian centers sponsor "Testament: The Life of Jesus," a one-man show by actor Norman Dietz, at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Union Rincon Room. Admission is $2.
- The Poetry Center presents a reading by author Terry Tempest Williams at 8 p.m. in the Modern Languages Auditorium.
- Peter Briggs from the UA Museum of Art speaks of "Expressive Dimensions of Public Space and Village Architecture in Western Honduras" at noon in Room 315 of the Douglass Building.
- The Composition Program, Department of English and UA Library co-sponsor "Writing Southwestern Journeys," a discussion by and for students, in Modern Languages Room 311 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
- Gallagher Theatre shows a free screening of "Fargo" at 7 p.m.
