University police responded to Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., Thursday morning after a resident reported the "Wilbur Wildcat" costume stolen from a hall laundry room.

Between 3:30 and 4 a.m. someone took the one-piece, gold-colored suit from a dryer in the hall.

Three other residents of Arizona-Sonora told police they saw a male carrying a large amount of laundry out of the northeast lobby doors between 3:30 and 4 a.m.

They described the man as a white male, 18 to 19 years old, six feet tall with blondish-brown, medium length hair.

A resident assistant at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., told police she saw a male struggling to get inside the lobby sometime after 3 a.m.

He reportedly used a pass card to access the elevators, and he fit the description of the suspect seen at Arizona-Sonora.

Police reports indicate the RA will notify police if she sees the male again.

The victim said he is willing to prosecute in the incident.

A female resident of Arizona-Sonora Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., called police Wednesday after an unknown male disturbed her in the shower.

Police reports indicate the resident was showering in the hall's sixth-floor bathroom at 6:45 p.m. when she heard a noise outside the stall.

When she looked out from behind the curtain, she saw a man in his late 20s holding her underwear.

When the man saw her, he dropped the underwear and left the bathroom.

Police searched the building but were unable to find the suspect. The victim is unsure whether she could identify the man if she saw him again.

A UA employee at McClelland Hall, 1130 E. Helen St., called police Tuesday afternoon after numerous items were stolen from offices in the building.

Between 2 and 3 p.m., someone stole an employee's CD player and another employee's wallet from two separate offices.

When the wallet was found missing, another employee searched the area for suspicious people. The employee called police after he followed one man carrying a "boom box." The man reportedly entered a third-floor women's restroom.

The employee confronted the man as he was emerging from the restroom, but the suspect fled the scene. The employee entered the restroom and found a CD player and a Marvin Gaye CD on the floor of the restroom.

Police arrived and returned the CD player to its rightful owner, but no one would claim the CD.

An employee in the Theatre Arts building later called police after finding the missing wallet. Identification, credit cards and $75 in cash were removed.

The male suspect fits the description of a suspect involved in earlier petty larceny cases in the university area.
