UA player sought by Ore. police

UA offensive lineman Frank Middleton Jr. could be arrested if he travels to Oregon next season after misdemeanor assault and harassment charges have been filed against him there.

Middleton is sought for a Nov. 4 incident in which he allegedly hit Oregon State University mascot Benny the Beaver during a touchdown celebration in Corvallis, Ore.

"It is likely if the state police knew he was going to be in the state that they would serve the warrant," said Pete Sandrock, district attorney for Benton County, Ore.
