- The Department of German Studies presents "Munchhausen," a film adapted from Erich Kastners novel about Baron Munchhausen, in the Modern Languages Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
- The Center for Middle Eastern Studies and the Department of Mathematics co-sponsor Wilbur Knorr, a Stanford University professor, speaking about "The Wrong Text of Euclid (II): Mathematical Differences" at 4 p.m. in Social Sciences Room 222.
- Gallagher Theatre shows a special presentation of "Liberation," as part of the Holocaust Conference, at 7:30 p.m. for $1. Showing today through Sunday is "Sabrina," at 9:30 p.m. today and 7:30 and 9:55 p.m. tomorrow through Sunday. Tickets are $2.50 .
- Robert Felner, professor of public policy, education and social welfare at the University of Illinois, speaks about "School Reform as Prevention: An Ecological Approach to Risk Reduction and Developmental Enhancement" from 2 to 3 p.m. in the College of Education's Kiva Auditorium.
- The Department of Mathematics sponsors a Unix/Utilities Workshop at 2 p.m. in the Math building, Room 102.
- The Archaeological Institute of America presents "Did Yahweh have a Consort?", a slide show, archaeologist from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel, at 4 p.m. in the Franklin Building, Room 202.
