Bishop Manuel Morano greets students outside the Catholic Newman Center following Easter services yesterday. The bishop, of the Diocese of Tucson, was on hand for the confirmation of 17 candidates into the Catholic church. Confirmation is the sacrament in which young adults confirm their belief in the church with the Bishop's blessing.
