Phoenix Suns forward A.C. Green came to McKale Center on Monday to announce the FHP Shootout matchup between the Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers. Along with Green came Hall of Famer Connie Hawkins to discuss the youth basketball clinic that he is participating in this summer.

While the press conference was directed mostly toward the Shootout, Green did comment on a variety of issues, including Magic Johnson's ejection from Sunday's Suns-Lakers game after bumping a referee.

"He just bumped an official, and he's going to get thrown out of the game," Green said. "Basketball is getting a little oversensitive."

On Tucson: "I love Tucson. I remember the intensity of the crowd from when I played here in college (for Oregon State). We always wanted to come back because of the warm weather."

On the chance of Suns' forward Charles Barkley playing in the Shootout next year: "I think he's going to be there. I mean, What else is he going to do?"

On playing under coach Cotton Fitzsimmons who replaced the fired Paul Westphal in January: "It's a bit of a change. We had more liberty under Paul. Cotton is more of an X's and O's guy."

On the playoffs: "The playoffs are nothing but a breath of fresh air. It's a chance for us to start over."

On any team he wouldn't want to see in the playoffs: "No team scares me, really. If we are on top of our game, we can beat anyone."
