- The School of Music and Dance presents a performance by the UA Symphonic Band at 8 p.m. in Crowder Hall. Tickets cost $6 for general admission, $5 for UA staff, and $3 for students and senior citizens.

- The Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering presents "The Current Status of Systems and Software Engineering at Hughes Missile Systems Company," a seminar by engineering specialist H.S. Goodkin, at 4 p.m. in Engineering Room 301.
- The UA Department of Physics and the Tucson Area Physics Teachers sponsor the 12th annual Physics Phun Night at 7:30 p.m. in Physics and Atmospheric Sciences Room 201. The event features students and professors showcasing their creative demon strations of physical principles.
- The University Activities Board presents a concert by Four Inches From the Floor from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Cellar.
