- Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall will hold a bash tomorrow afternoon as part of its 40th birthday celebration. The party is open to the public and will start at 4 p.m. with the University of Arizona's A steel drum band, followed by bagpiper John R amsey at 5 p.m. and karaoke at 6 p.m. A barbecue is scheduled, along with appearances by Wilbur and Wilma Wildcat and UA alumni. The event is sponsored by the Residence Hall Association, the Associated Students, and Manzanita-Mohave Hall Government.
- The School of Music and Dance presents performances by the UA Symphony Orchestra tomorrow and Sunday in Crowder Hall. Tomorrow's performance is at 8 p.m. and Sunday's is at 3 p.m. Tickets are $6, $5, and $3. Also on Sunday, student composers perform at 7:30 p.m. in Holsclaw Hall.
- The College of Fine Arts and UA Foundation present an open art festival titled "Arts Oasis Sunday" from 1 to 4 p.m. on the southeast corner of East Speedway Boulevard and North Park Avenue.
- The Center for Creative Photography and UA Museum of Art present an opening reception for "Reconstruction: William Christenberry's Art" Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m. At 2 p.m., Christenberry gives a slide lecture in the CCP Auditorium. The show includes "The Klan Room," an installation centered around the Ku Klux Klan.
- Gallagher Theatre presents the Arizona International Film Festival today through Sunday. Call 621-3102 for show times and ticket prices.
