- The UA African American Faculty, Staff and Appointed Personnel Support Group sponsors "Stop the Hatred: Racism on Campus and in the Tucson Community," a public forum to discuss the climate on the UA campus and within the Tucson community, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Main Library Multi-Purpose Room A313.
- The University Activities Board presents a concert by Don Reeve from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Cellar.
- The Department of Campus Recreation will hold registration for fall recreation activity classes and the "A"-Camp on the Mall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day through Wednesday.
- The UA women's golf team plays the Pacific 10 Conference Championships from 12 to 3 p.m. at Raven Golf Course, 9777 E. Sabino Greens Drive.
- The College of Science, the Graduate College and the Commission on the Status of Women sponsor two seminars by scientist, scholar and journalist Margaret Wertheim. The first seminar, "Discussion with WISE," begins at 10 a.m. in Gould-Simpson Room 1027. The second seminar, "Science and the Media," begins at 12:30 p.m. in Modern Languages Room 304.
- Gallagher Theatre presents a free advance screening of "The Truth About Dogs And Cats," at 9:30 p.m.
- Campus Health Service sponsors "Connecting Campus and Community," the second part of a teleconference series by Dr. Richard Keeling, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Harvill Rooms 201 and 205.
