Between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday, a wild animal killed a goat at the UA Agricultural Complex, 4040 N. Campbell Ave.

Employees found coyote paw prints in and around the dead animal's fenced pen and thus suspect coyotes, police reports stated.

A student was arrested on alcohol-related charges over the weekend.

Jonathan R. Cavalcant, 19, a resident of Cochise Hall, 1018 E. South Campus Drive, was arrested near East Fourth Street and North Highland Avenue Sunday after officers saw him swaying excessively while walking, police reports stated.

Cavalcant was wearing only blue jeans and a blanket when officers stopped him at 3:08 a.m. Reports indicate he told police, "So I'm fucked up. Why are you busting my chops? Do you want to kick my ass?"

He later admitted drinking and said his friends had thrown him in a fountain earlier that evening. Cavalcant was cited and released at the scene.

Between Friday and 9 p.m. Saturday, someone shattered the driver-side window and ripped open the steering column of a 1989 Jeep Cherokee parked in Lot 5065 at East Fifth Street and North Tyndall Avenue.

A Clarion AM/FM compact disc player and a pair of sunglasses were taken from the vehicle. The stolen items are valued at $380.

University police responded to the Arizona State Museum, 1013 E. University Blvd., after someone reported an intoxicated male in the area at 12:18 a.m. Friday.

Police reports indicate officers saw a man run north toward East Second Street, where a community service officer saw him break a wooden gate.

Officers drove around the building and arrested Brandon T. Rodgers, 20, of the 100 block of South Avenida de Palmas. During a search, they found a false driver license in his wallet.

Rodgers admitted drinking earlier that evening and subsequent Intoxilyzer test indicated a blood-alcohol concentration of .225.

He was charged with minor in consumption of alcohol, misrepresentation of age to obtain liquor, possession of fictitious identification and criminal damage.

He was cited and released from university police headquarters.
