A Sabio/Internet/CCIT summer workshop will cover the use of Encyclopedia Britannica through Netscape and Lynx at 4 p.m. Seating is limited to 24 and is first come, first served. The workshop will be held in Science and Engineering Library Room 311.

The Student Union's Gallagher Theatre shows "Mighty Aphrodite" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:25 p.m. through July 19. Admission is $2.50.

The VideoTENSIONS screenings continue with "VideoLOCAL," in the Modern Languages Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, July 19

The UA Dance Department will hold a jewelry sale on the Mall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Agricultural and Biosystems engineering special seminar presents "NASA's Advanced Life Support Human Rated Test Facility," by NASA's Russ Fortson of the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. It will be at 10 a.m. in Shantz Building Room 440.

A Sabio/Internet/CCIT summer workshop on creating your own home page will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Science and Engineering Library Room 311. Seating is limited to 24 and is first come, first served.

Crossing Borders: The 1996 Distinguished Lecturer Series continues with a lecture by Constance deSwann titled, "International Publishing," from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. deSwann has collaborated on several nonfiction bestsellers. The lecture is in Main Gate Building Room 321.

Monday, July 22

The Crossing Borders: The 1996 Distinguished Lecturer Series continues with a talk from Zarina Estrada Fernandez titled, "Native American Communities and Linguistic Description." Fernandez is a professor of linguistics at the University of Sonora. The talk starts at 9 a.m. in the Education Kiva Auditorium.

Gallagher Theatre shows "A Walk in the Clouds" in the Student Union at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. through July 24. Admission is $2.50.

Tuesday, July 23

The Center for English as a Second Language sponsors a Mini-Bazaar upstairs at the CESL Building from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

A Sabio/Internet/CCIT summer workshop covering "beyond the basics of Internet use" will be held in Science and Engineering Library Room 311 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Seating is limited to 24 and is on a first come, first serve basis.
