- Spring Rush begins Sunday with an informational meeting in the Arizona Ballroom at 7 p.m. Applications are available in the Intrafraternity Council office, Student Union Room 101. For more information, contact Ryan Anderson, vice president of membership , at 621-2934.
- The UA club rugby team (5-0) takes on Stanford tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. at Estevan Park, which is located on Main Street just south of East Speedway Boulevard. Prior to the varsity match, the Wildcats' jayvee teams will play games, at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
- The Department of Media Arts presents Dr. Keyan Tomaselli of the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa, lecturing on "MTV and Mandela: The Politics of Television and Apartheid in South Africa" from 3 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. in the Center for Creative Pho tography Auditorium.
- The Icecats skate against Michigan-Dearborn tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center.
- Gallagher Theatre shows "Kids" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Also shown is "Clockwork Orange" as the Midnight Special. Starting Saturday, and running through Tuesday, Gallagher Theatre shows "Seven." Admission is $2.50.
- The Cat's Eye's first show of the year airs tomorrow at noon on KVOA Channel 4.
