The Associated Students Undergraduate Senate narrowly passed the Professional Opportunities Development package last week by a 3-2 margin, with Chairman Jonathan Bierner casting the deciding vote. Two members did not vote.

POD is a Graduate and Professional Student Council program delegating money for on-campus speaker programs.

The package was amended to include a "sunset clause," which mandates a program review after two years.

The revised proposal must still be approved by the GPSC.
