- The men's basketball team plays Washington in McKale Center at 7:30 p.m.
- Gallagher Theatre is showing "Strange Days" today through Sunday.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.
- The seventh annual Sounding of the Drum ceremony will kick off African American History Month at the African American Cultural Resource Center, 1322 E. First St., at 10 a.m.
- As part of African American History Month, Coronado Residence Hall holds an exhibition of highlights in African American history. The display includes "Our List," a list of African Americans who died in slavery and photos of famous African American l eaders and events. It opens at 10 a.m. and will continue through next week.
- The Baha'i Club and the Eye on Diversity Committee sponsors a workshop about stopping racism in Student Union, Room 256 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information call 621-0764.
- Photographer Rueben Ortiz Torres will give a gallery talk at 5:30 p.m. in the Center for Creative Photography. The talk is part of the center's continuing exhibit "Tracing Cultures." The center is open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. an d Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
