- The Freshman Convocation is being held in the Arizona Ballroom of the Memorial Student Union from 11 a.m. to noon. New students can meet administrators and interact with faculty in small groups.
- An Ice Cream Social is being held on the UA Mall to introduce faculty, administrators and staff to university students from noon to 1 p.m.
A free Sabio/Internet workshop is being held in the Computer Center, Room 311, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Bicycle registration is being held on the UA Mall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The Computer Center is offering a free workshop on Orientation to Computing Resources from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Room 311.
- "The Birdcage" is showing at the Student Union's Gallagher Theatre at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
