The Library offers a free workshop on how to create your own homepage in the Science and Engineering Library Room 311 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
The workshop explains how to use Hypertext Mark Up Language to create a World Wide Web homepage. Participants should have a familiarity with the Windows environment.
The Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium presents "The Comets are Coming," an exploration into the nature and origin of comets at 7:30 p.m. The laser light show "Psychedelic Hog" features music from the '60s and '70s at 8:30 p.m. "Lollapalaser II"
features music from bands of the last five Lollapalooza tours at 9:30 p.m. "The Rolling Stones vs. Aerosmith" is at 10:45 p.m. and "Pink Floyd's Darkside of the Moon" is at 8:30 p.m.. Call 621-STAR for ticket prices.
The Committee on Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual Studies presents Su Friedrich to speak on "Hide and Seek," a narrative documentary about lesbian childhood. Presented in the Modern Languages Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
The Arizona State Museum hosts the Southwest Indian Art Fair from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, and from noon until 4 p.m. on Sunday. The fair includes lectures on American Indian art, live music and the sale of jewelry, kachina dolls and pottery.
Saturday the UA women's basketball team plays Oregon State University at 2 p.m. at McKale Center.
The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "The Ghost and the Darkness" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:40 p.m. today, tomorrow and Sunday. The midnight show today is "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." Admission is $2.50.
