  • The Library offers a free workshop on using SABIO, the library's information system, and journal databases in Science and Engineering Library Room 311 from 10 a.m. until noon.

  • The UA baseball team plays Eastern Michigan at Frank Sancet Field at 2:30 p.m.

  • The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the College of Humanities is holding an information night for students interested in the congressional internship program in Rooms A313 and A314 of the Main Library from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

    The information session will address questions about congressional internship programs, including how to receive course credit. Students will have the opportunity to speak individually with congressional staff members. All majors are welcomed.

  • The Poetry Center presents A.D. Coleman, media commentator and photo critic, to speak on "Critical Focus: Making a Free-Lance Life" in the Poetry Center at 11 a.m.

  • William T. Greenough, professor at Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois, speaks on "Cellular Substrates of Lifespan Brain Information Storage Mechanisms," in Arizona Health Sciences Center Room 8403 at 11:30 a.m.

  • The American Red Cross accepts blood donations on the UA Mall from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

  • The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre shows "Ransom" at 7:30 and 9:50. Admission is $2.50.
