Aaron Young, biochemistry sophomore
Young is a member of the Student Alumni Association and was co-director of Family Weekend 1996. If elected to the Senate, he plans to support and increase club funding through possibly serving on the appropriations board. Young said he also hopes to take steps in Student Union renovation by engaging in fund raising and planning as well as lobbying state and university officials. His third platform topic is creating an ASUA-UAB partnership in order to create higher quality student programs.
