Derick Kurdy, criminal justice freshman

Kurdy, one of two freshman running for ASUA Senate, has been a member of the Freshman Council over the past year. If elected to the Senate, he said hopes to create a chat site on the ASUA Web page for students to voice their opinions on ASUA and university administration issues. He said the chat site could also serve as a means of polling. Another form of student polling could consist of quarter-sheet mailers, Kurdy said. The sheets, which would be distributed to the Greek houses and the residence halls, would consist of questions relating to ASUA and the university administration.
