Peterson, a former senate aid, is running for ASUA Senate on three issues. If elected, she hopes to create a more effective student government by establishing communication between ASUA and other parts of campus. She said she also wants to create an AUSA listserv to keep interested students informed of events within ASUA. Peterson said she also plans to implement leadership training workshops for club and organization leaders. She said these workshops would ideally serve to make clubs more successful as well as provide networking within the UA's various clubs and organizations. She also lists publication of professor evaluations, student opinion on general education plans and Student Union and classroom renovations as some of her issues.
