- Career Services offers a free workshop on interviewing skills from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the Memorial Student Union in the Catalina Room. Students are required to check in at the Career Services reception desk in the lower level of Old Main. The workshop helps participants answer interview questions in one-on-one and panel settings. It will also cover what to do and what not to do in a job interview.
- Steward Observatory Public Evenings presents Richard Poss to speak on "Astronomy and Spirituality: European and Anasazi Visions of the Sacred," in the Steward Observatory Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. After the hour-long lecture there will be a question and answer period. If the weather permits, those in attendance are invited to view the night sky through the telescope at Steward Observatory's campus station, aided by the members of the UA Astronomy Club.
- The College of Business and Public Administration present Mancur Olson, Ph.D., of the University of Maryland, to speak on "Power and Prosperity," in the Berger Auditorium of McClellend Hall Room 207.
- The Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre is showing "101 Dalmatians" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. Admission is $2.50.
