Laxcats crushed by Whittier Poets
After beating the UCLA Bruins, 13-5 at the Rincon Vista Sports Complex on Saturday, March 8, the Arizona men's lacrosse team headed on the road during spring break to Southern Cal to take on No. 1-ranked Whittier College and Loyola-Marymount.On Saturday March 15, the Wildcats (6-2, 5-2 in the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League) began their road trip at Whittier. The team struggled to find themselves and got outplayed, losing, 25-8. On Sunday March 16, the Wildcats earned a split of the road trip, by beating the Lions, 13-12.
The Wildcats will be at home this weekend, taking on the UC-San Diego on Saturday and Arizona State on Sunday. Both games start at 1:00 p.m. at Rincon.
