• The fifth annual conference of the Holocaust presents Tom Kovach, professor of German, to speak on "How Germans and Jews Deal with the Holocaust Today," in the Hillel Center at noon.

  At 7:30 p.m. in the Hillel Center, a group of panelists will review incidents of persecution experiences by groups followed by a discussion to promote education and diversity.

• The Undergraduate Society of Criminal Justice Studies presents a sergeant from the Tucson Police Department to speak on the "History of the K-9 Unit," in McClelland Hall Room 127 at 6 p.m.

• The Building Academic Community Speaker Series presents C. Vance Haynes, regents professor in the departments of Anthropology and Geosciences, to speak on "Clovis People: The First Arizonans," in the Memorial Student Union's Gallagher Theatre at 12:15 p.m.
