- The UA Business and Professional Women's organization has voter registration forms available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Student Union Arcade, located between the UA Associated Students Bookstore and the Student Union. Call Pam Mendel at 621-7248 for more information.
- Bobcats Senior Honorary holds its first organizational meeting for Homecoming events at 7 p.m. All organizations planning on participating in Homecoming activities, such as the parade or tents on the Mall, must attend. The meeting is in Room 205 of the Swede Johnson building, located on the northwest corner of Cherry Avenue and Speedway Boulevard. Call 621-7576 with any questions.
- "A Personal View of Yavno and Siskind and Their Photography" is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Center for Creative Photography. In the presentation, Leonard Vernon, a Los Angeles photograph collector and executor of the Max Yavno estate, offers his views of the photographers and their work. "Mexican Tableaux," a photographic exhibit by Max Yavno and Aaron Siskind, runs at the CCP through Sunday.
It displays photographs that the New York-raised photographers took over a period spanning the 1950s to the 1980s. Contact Nancy Solomon at 621-7968 for more information.
- The Pima County Republican Club holds weekly meetings at noon at Carlos Murphy's, 419 W. Congress. Today's meeting features a lecture by Rick Hill, Health Consultant, on "Freedom of Choice." The meeting is free and is open to the public.
