'Big Bag o' Happy' shows an anti-Catholic bigotry

I'm appalled that Wildcat would print such anti-Catholic trash as Monday's "Big Bag o' Happy" comic strip.

The comic was not at all funny, and in making fun of Pope John Paul II, surely one of the most loved men on the planet, Josh Proctor is displaying either stupidity or a strange desire to anger, upset and annoy Catholics.

One doubts that the Wildcat would have printed a comic strip that made similar fun of a Jewish rabbi, or a Muslim cleric, or the Dalai Lama. Yet Catholicism seems to be fair game.
