Men's lacrosse earns berth in Championships

The Arizona men's club lacrosse team was able to hold on against Sonoma

State 19-17 in the Western Coast Lacrosse League semifinals on Friday afternoon.

The Laxcats (11-3 overall) did not lead in any quarter but the fourth.

Sophomore David Beer had 35 saves in the win.

The win for the Laxcats guarantees them one of the two spots given to the Western Coast Lacrosse League at the National Club Championships next weekend in St. Louis.
