Man cited on another indecency charge

Alan D. Hodson, 19, of the 1700 block of North Park Avenue, was cited on a charge of public sexual indecency, said Detective Sgt. Sal Celi of the University of Arizona Police Department. Hodson was cited and released.

Celi said a woman saw Hodson near North Park Avenue and East Fourth Street in a teal green Saturn with his penis exposed and masturbating about 10 a.m.

The woman went to UAPD headquarters and reported the incident, Celi said.

He said police stopped Hodson in a teal green Saturn near the intersection of Park and East Helen Street.

Hodson admitted to police that he had his penis exposed and was masturbating but said he did not intentionally expose himself toward a specific person, Celi said.

The woman positively identified Hodson as the man in the Saturn, Celi said.

The Tucson Police Department cited Hodson on charges of indecent exposure and public sexual indecency March 25 after a woman reported seeing a man masturbating in a teal Saturn at the intersection of Park and Fourth Street a day earlier.

Hodson would not comment on yesterday's incident.
